My furry beginnings

So how did it start for me.. Well, phew, that is actually a very tough question really. I think it started when I was around 12-13 or so, that was the first time I was with my sister at a riding school.

I didn’t really want to go but my sister kinda dragged me and now, I am very glad that she did, because being at the riding school close to so many horses, I think that was the exact time that I realized how much I really loved horses. After I has been with my sister at that riding school, I started to go there by myself also. First I just came there to watch and to pet the horses, but before long I was helping those that had their own horses by grooming them or taking them back to their place in the stables, removing all the riding gear and putting it in storage, yes I know it sounds like shit really, but I truly and fully loved every moment that I could spend near horses..

That is really what started my large interest in horses, before long I was able to work at the stables in exchange for riding lessons, mostly because my parents didn’t have enough money to actually pay for the riding lessons, so I took what I could get and I stayed at those stables for a few years or so..

But just loving and loving to work with horses, might have sparked my interest in horses, my first step down the path of furryness started a few years after I stopped working at the stables. I found this website on the internet talking about animal spirits and furries in general, after some time I actually found out that there was a whole subgroup of people on the internet that shared my interest in animals and some of them even in horses, so I took the chance to start to talk with them and before long, I knew that it was the place for me..

So that was really how I learned about furries and how my journey started, there is a bit more to the story, mostly due to my spiritual beliefs (being a wiccan), I started to do a bit more research into animal spirits and spirituality and I found another group that was again interested in the same things and that group was the Wiccan’s..

Now I do want to know that I do like all kinds of animals, not just horses. Cats, Dogs, Snakes you name it. There are a few animals that I do not like and those are mostly spiders. I don’t really know why, they are just well icky and well scary.

But I will talk more about my spiritual beliefs in another blog post, which hopefully will come to a blog near you (hopefully mine) in the near future..

The only thing I have left to say is, thank you for reading my blog post and I hope you enjoyed it.. If you liked it, I would really love if you could Digg it.

Take care, have fun and be safe.
